2009-10
For the HCD on 22 October we raised £300 for Breast Cancer Research.
On 20 November we arranged a fund raising event for BBC Children in Need The theme was Super Heroes and Villians and we raised over £300
This year we have collected 125 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
During Advent we collected 19 grocery hampers which were distributed to the old and needy of our parishes.
For the HCD on 18 December we raised £300 for Christian Aid.
2008-09
For the first Home Clothes Day on 24 October we raised £252 for Smile for a Child.
The School Council organised a fund raising event for BBC Children in Need with the theme of film characters and we presented a cheque to Paul Mooney and Pudsey Bear for £400 when they came into school on 14 November.

We collected 129 shoeboxes for the Operation Christmas Child Appeal. The boxes were collected by the charity on 21 November and will be given to children in countries in eastern Europe.
At the end of the autumn term we had a Home Clothes Day and raised £250 for The Teenage Cancer Unit at the RVI, Newcastle.
The HCD on 12 February raised £250 and this was shared equally between The Heart Foundation and Give Tilly a Hand.
On Friday 13 March there was a Home Clothes Day including fancy dress and £200 was raised for Comic Relief .
During Lent we raised £750 for St Cuthbert's Care, our diocesan charity.
In May we raised £200 with a HCD for our link school in Kenya.
In July we held the last HCD and we raised £180 for UNICEF Day of Change.
2007-08
Last year we raised £300 for Mercy Trucks, a local charity which takes much needed resources to Third World countries.
We also organised a Home Clothes Day for the BBC Children in Need Appeal and raised £100.
We held another HCD on 21st Dec. for the Hexham Youth Initiative and Children with Leukaemia. Each charity received a cheque for £110.
The School Council agreed to allocate the £110 raised on the February HCD to the Anya Potter Appeal.
During Lent we raised £840 for St. Cuthbert's Care, our diocesan charity.
The HCD in May raised £147 for the Cystic Fibrosis Society.
The HCD on the last day of term raised £90 each for the Puffin Appeal and the UNICEF Day of Change.
