Curriculum

Central to the work of the school is the curriculum. This consists of all the programmes of study of the National Curriculum and R.E.. It also includes the cross-curricular subjects of health education, drug education as well as a sex and relationship educational programme. A range of teaching methods will be used including:

whole class teaching

presentations by the teachers
presentations by the pupils
discussion and debate
question and answer (including high order questioning)
individual and group investigation
use of television, video and dvd
role play and drama
fieldwork
use of ICT

use of interactive whiteboards
