Performing Arts
We were officially designated as an Arts College from
1st September 2008 and we gained the Arts Council
Silver Artsmark in May 2008.

Arts Week 18th - 21st May 2009

Our Y5 pupils have been learning to play either the pocket trumpet or the baritone trumpet in their music lessons this year. This is part of the Wider Opportunities scheme to encourage children to play a musical instrument.
Mr Philip Rosier,subject leader of music arranged for nearly 70 of the children to perform with the nationally renowned Fishburn Brass Band at a concert attended by 250 people on 8th July 2009. Here are some pictures of the concert below.
